For the first time this 2025-26 NFL season, Taylor’s entrance was documented at a Chiefs game. Taylor’s game-day style has developed since her September 2023 Arrowhead debut, evolving from sweet, locally sourced vintage Chiefs gear in her rookie season to layering in edgier designer pulls to elevate her team wares. The clothes, like her presence, have grown bolder with each passing year. 

As her sartorial approach has changed, so too have her entries into Arrowhead Stadium. During her first two seasons, particularly 2024-25, Taylor was a dependable fixture in the Arrowhead tunnels, posing for venue photographers en route to her suite. This year, she’s been significantly more lowkey, but no less present to cheer on the Chiefs; making her way to her suite privately without being picked up by cameras.

On Christmas Day, the Chiefs’ first home game post-playoffs elimination, I was delighted to see her outfit in full. What a gift! Particularly against the backdrop that this might be Travis’ final home game as a Kansas City Chief with his current contract slated for completion this season and the possibility of retirement. This outfit is a familiar football-spectating ensemble for Taylor. An all-black base with a short hemline and tall boots creates a streamlined backdrop for the hero piece: a slouchy leather bomber jacket. Its sporty silhouette and Chiefs-red hue underscore frequent motifs in her game day looks. The jacket designer - The Frankie Shop - is best known for their cool and relaxed take on oversized, minimalist suiting that’s smart, elegant, effortless, and a bit dramatic. You could say it’s the inevitable “je ne sais quoi” quality of having a Parisienne-turned-New Yorker as a founder. Taylor styled the statement outerwear with a new Louis Vuitton bag which subtly incorporates the classic LV Monogram into the handbag strap details.

At the end of The End of an Era … is it possible we’re finally getting an answer to *the* question? The question of which lipstick Taylor wears on stage that’s able to withstand three and a half hours of singing in any weather - be that wind, sun, or torrential downpour?

Typically, for me, identifying makeup by sight alone is next to impossible. It’s why I’m cautious in this category! Whenever any of Taylor’s beauty items are confirmed (by Taylor herself or her MUA) I have always been more than happy to post. I’ve reported other confirmed red lipsticks over the years, but the particular shade of red that Taylor wears on the Eras Tour has (understandably) been highly sought after. While many suspected it was by Pat McGrath, the artist who did Taylor’s her makeup for the “Bejeweled” music video and 2022 MTV VMA appearance and helpfully provided all the details of what she used, Pat has never confirmed connection to Taylor’s stage lipstick. Which is why it’s always been a mystery … until now!

In clips in The End of an Era docuseries, we see Taylor’s makeup artist Lorrie Turk in the process of doing Taylor’s stage beauty. Including a glimpse of her applying her lip shade from a thin, silver bullet which looks to be MAC’s Locked Kiss packaging. The exact shade? You can guess between the shades of red on offer from MAC which include ‘Gutsy’ (a tomato red), ‘Extra Chili’ (an orange red), and ‘Ruby True’ (a classic blue red). MAC themselves stepped in to pin the shade to the latter. It’s worth noting makeup artists often mix their own colours and/or dabble in multiple products of something in order to make a final look happen. Many grains of salt being thrown here! (Lorrie if ever there were a time to confirm what an end to the Eras era gift that would be!)

The other two products here are also my very best guesses based on squinting at packaging, with thanks to the Charlotte Tilbury team for confirming on their end.

We’re finally at the end of The End of an Era. In case you missed it, Taylor announced via Good Morning America last week that the final two episodes of her Disney+ docuseries would be moved up to release at midnight December 23 instead of its usual Friday drop. Today, we received a trailer for those final two episodes. It’s been a wonderful journey through the Eras era - coming to its finale episode feels like saying goodbye to the tour all over again!

In the trailer, while appearing to practice with her surprise guest Gracie Abrams, Taylor wears this royal blue crew from Mamba & Mambacita Sports - a charitable organization founded by Vanessa Bryant in honor of the legacies of Kobe and Gianna “Gigi” Bryant with a mission to support boys and girls in sports.

Taylor has long ties with the Bryants. You might recall Kobe was one of her guests at the Staples Center back on the 1989 Tour. Then, he presented her with a commemorative banner celebrating the most sold-out shows by an artist at the venue. Following his passing, Taylor has remain connected to the family. In August 2023, she donned the “22” hat on Bianka Bryant during one of her Eras Tour stops in Los Angeles. Most recently, in January 2024, she was spotted leaving a recording studio wearing a Mamba & Mambacita Sports “Bet On Yourself” necklace which was released in collaboration between Vanessa Bryant and the L.A.-based jewelry brand Zoë Chicco.

Another week, another installment of The End of an Era!

While rehearsing one of her acoustic mashups on piano, Taylor sits relaxed and barefaced in a black, long-sleeved henley and distressed denim. The latter is by a brand she’s turned to often for their intricate patchwork style of clothes. I saw that collage of distressing, fading, and patches and suspected it was another Magnolia Pearl piece! Taylor also wears one of MP’s pairs of jeans in a different episode while rehearsing her signature dive post-acoustic section. 

As someone who loves neutrals and basic pieces, this was a reminder to me about how specific details can elevate and personalize an outfit. This outfit could easily be a black tee and light wash black denim (something I’ve worn countless times) but it feels a little more special here because of the unique distressing on the denim and the button detail on the henley.

We haven’t gotten a glimpse at her regular game day outfits this season, but it was fun to see her continue to commit to the bit and don Chiefs wares even while on tour, tuning into games from backstage or during fittings for wardrobe.

For her vintage Chiefs gear, Taylor has often turned to local Kansas City-based businesses (Westside Storey stands out as a repeat vintage shop she’s purchased from). Here, she expands her net a little wider to include the boutique Love Letters.

In between scenes in the fourth episode (“Thank You For the Lovely Bouquet”), we see Taylor in more comfy laidback clothes including this tee by the brand Mother, which retailed under the Anthropologie umbrella. Taylor has shopped from Anthro often over the years so the retailer choice - and the cat motif - are both very on brand for her. With it, she repeats her Louis Vuitton bag we’ve seen her carry on a number of occasions.

In between scenes in the third episode (“Kismet”), we see Taylor in more comfy laidback clothes including this slouchy, oversized color blocked sweater from Free People. Taylor has long worn FP pieces throughout her life. In documenting Taylor’s fashion for so long, it’s fun seeing the brands she genuinely continues to turn to, particularly when they make for a high/low when paired with a Louis Vuitton bag we’ve also seen her carry on a number of occasions.

Another week, another installment of The End of an Era!

These episodes do zig-zag a bit across timelines, dropping in clips from rehearsals in between the “present day” shots of Taylor at an Eras stop city in question. The first two episodes centered a lot on the origins and impact of the tour - its lengthy rehearsals and planning contrasted against its monumental success. In addition to footage captured from rehearsals where Taylor was likely to wear actual athletic wear (leggings, sports bras, sweatpants, sneakers) these last two episodes offered outfits that were equally relaxed but that leaned a little closer to “street style” than gymwear. Like a worn-in tie-dye vintage band tee being tonally matched with a dark denim wash pleated mini skirt. Based on Taylor previously wearing pieces by Meshki, these are my current best guess at her skirt in question based on the soft pleats, wash, and stitching. (Will continue looking and update should something prove more accurate!)

Her Flaunt case is one we’ve seen her carry before, she’s used their cases in a few iridescent colorways.

While I’ve watched both episodes now a few times over (rewatches as research in the name of the recap for the newsletter!), I find myself coming back to this section often. An unplugged acoustic performance will always have my heart! It’s such a cozy and warm moment in the series.

Now, the clothes. Taking a very close squint - this is my current best guess for Taylor’s pocket tee dress. Everlane is a brand I know very well (according to my digital closet app, they take up about 37% of my total wardrobe) and is one that Taylor herself has worn on a handful of occasions over the years. The stitching at the hem and sleeves and corners of the pocket appear to align and the sized up options seen on the model appear similar to the length seen on Taylor. Of course, should this be proven otherwise an update will follow.

Now the jewelry on the other hand are all familiar Taylor pieces she’s previously worn. In fact, Taylor wears this mismatched combination of ’T’ earrings from Jacquie Aiche and Foundrae a lot through the series (Note: The stock images from both brands feature the letter ‘A’ while Taylor is of course rocking a letter ’T’). As a matchy-matchy girl myself, this inspires me to nudge just a little bit out of my comfort zone to try an asymmetric moment like this.

A real blink-and-you-miss-it moment in the second episode of the docuseries. While Taylor is rehearsing with associate choreography Amanda Balen, we see her wearing an adorable cat tee. We’ve actually previously seen her wear this tee before, celebrating her 33rd birthday in studio with Jack Antonoff.

As a lifelong Vancouverite, I’d recognize the strappy back of a lululemon Energy bra just about anywhere. But in my squinting and zooming in on footage, I couldn’t help but notice some distinct stitching in the center of Taylor’s chest and that the telltale lulu logo was missing from the bra’s reverse. You can see that insignia clearly on her coordinating Align shorts - another iconic lulu style I’d know from anywhere, including my own closet. Taylor’s are part of an exclusive collection released with Dogpound, her gym in New York City, as seen by the DP logo on the front.

It’s at this point I realized that Taylor *might* just be wearing her bra inside out. Given that Episode 3 also includes a humorous blooper of Taylor discovering she was wearing her yellow Ralph Lauren sweatshirt backwards (a classic TSS-ism - IYKYK!) I feel like I’m correct in this line of logic. I, too, have completed a particularly sweaty workout, looked down, and realized I was wearing my sports bra inside out. REAL!

Regarding her choice of accessories, like this Ben Amun necklace which she's owned since October 2024, jewelry while working out might be an excellent way to feel fabulous, but it’s possible it was also purposeful. Given that Taylor wears a number of heavy Versace chains during Lover, the opening set of the show, I imagine this necklace might replicate the feeling of performing to the conditions of the show.

In one particular scene, Taylor goes about rehearsing and also handwriting bonuses to her crew. Her skort was an easy repeat to spot as she owns it in other colours.
